Extender Cables - KVM (keyboard/video/mouse)

For extending distance of your computer up to 100 feet away from your screen / mouse / keyboard.

For times you need to place your computer in a different room or rack, NTI sells high-grade extension cables that allow you to put some serious distance between the computer and keyboard, video and mouse (KVM).

Many stations prefer to rack mount their computers OUTSIDE the studio to keep things quiet.

While there are active/amplifier style extender boxes available, including IP based, ethernet based models, for lengths under 100 feet we STRONGLY recommend you keep things simple and use these super high quality specially engineered "3 in 1" cables that do not require any active amplifier transmitter or receivers.

These 3in1 cables have standard ps/2 jacks for keyboard and mouse and a hd15 pin din (video) connector on each end. One end is male and the other is female.
There are 9 sizes sold from 3 ft (aprox $14) to 100 ft ($84).
(25 - $29, 35 - $40, 50 -$55, 75 - $65)

You can purchase through WireReady or direct thru NTI.   NTI also makes a virtually unlimited variety of active KVM switch boxes including the ability to see and control more than computer/studio from the same keyboard/mouse/video position, to the ability to have multiple positions for the same computer and they offer switches using conventional cabling, or IP/ethernet solutions.

Note: It is one integrated cable with the ends pre-molded onto the ends. You should not cut these cables - if you cannot run cables point to point with the ends already on them - do not buy these cables.

If you are using USB based keyboards or mice, you cannot use these cables.
