Electronic Newsroom, EAS Alerts & Wire Service Capture

NewsReady captures AP - ABC - CBS - State news wires - EAS - Weather and more!

Thousands of stations have used NewsReady to capture their AP and other wire services for nearly 20 years on RS-232 ports. Now it's possible to capture so much more including National Weather Emergency messages over the Internet without having to subscribe to a major wire service or you can pull in files from FTP sites and other radio stations and networks.
NewsReady capture systems can capture for one computer, or an entire LAN, or we can re-feed stories to other outlets over RS-232, TCP, FTP or other formats.   We are used by thousands of radio stations and radio networks for these purposes.    Hundreds of newsrooms every day sort and organize their wire services captured through their NewsReady system and cut and paste that information into their own work. We can be programmed to automatically trip alarms, email certain stories, publish stories to your web site, reformat them with extra codings and many other things.

No one has captured more wire service stories for broadcasters around the world than WireReady. Since the mid 1980's, WireReady has now captured BILLIONS of stories for it's customers on their newsroom and studio computers, LANs, servers, web sites and other systems. Capture and organize thousands of stories in simple sortable, searchable databases.

WireReady can capture conventional broadcast wires that come in on satellite receivers via RS-232, or we can capture file based services that are streamed via 3rd party client programs from byte servers and other Internet based providers.

For many years stations had to have a news wire in order to receive national weather service forecasts and up to the second urgent bulletins. Now it's possible to receive NOAA/NWS feeds DIRECT right over the Internet into your PC without the need to buy it through a reseller like a full service news provider.    NewsReady can pick up feeds captured by 3rd party "player/ingesters." We will gladly provide these ingesters for a very small fee (often less than $50) for use with NewsReady. If you don't have a full service newswire, consider Internet based reception for your urgent weather information today. Or if you do have a full service newswire, consider connecting the Internet available stream as a backup source.

While many radio stations now look up weather information through their web browser, the advantage of capturing real time data over the Internet or subscribing to a full service wire news provider, is that our software can be programmed to GET YOUR ATTENTION in a hurry when urgent information is sent by weather forecast offices in your area.
