The Notepad
Unlike DOS versions - you can copy & paste text from other programs to and from NewsReady for Windows. Copy & paste text from our program to MS Word and other programs and vice versa. You can also copy paste from web sites into our notepad. Spell checker too.
NewsReady for Windows has true windows WORD-processing
Unlike clunky DOS based word-processing schemes, NewsReady for Windows adopted the same word-processing keys and functions of popular programs like MS Word. We use the same right click, CTRL-X/C/V cut-copy-paste keys and other conventions you are used to using with standard word processing.
WireReady takes all the pain out of copy/pasting from other applications. In addition, our right-click functions make your life easier. Highlight a portion of text and convert from uppercase to lowercase and vice versa. You can "WASH" the font (so everything you take from multiple sites displays in the same font for easy reading). You can even remove the hard-returns (that sometimes make your line spacing awkward) with our right-click function (instead of manually removing each hard return throughout your copy).
