Split Screen

With the Split Screen - the WireBrowser and the Notepad can appear together on the screen. Working in these two applications simultaneously saves time. First - the extra time and keystrokes/mouse clicks that are required to move in and out of each screen is eliminated. Second - the Split Screen lets you take advantage of drag and drop and Rip & Read.

Options for Even Faster Copying and Pasting

The copy and paste feature can save time by eliminating the need to retype copy, but this process, while an effective way for newcomers to become familiar with NewsReady for Windows, may not be fast enough for real-world needs. That's where the Split Screen comes in.

With the Split Screen, the WireBrowser and the Notepad can appear together on the screen. Working in these two applications simultaneously saves time. First, the extra time and keystrokes/mouse clicks that are required to move in and out of each screen is eliminated. (The same processes for copying and pasting discussed earlier can be used within Split Screen.). Second, the Split Screen lets you take advantage of drag and drop and Rip & Read.

Rip & Read
From the Split Screen it is easy to perform a Rip & Read, which allows you to highlight a headline in the WireBrowser and copy the entire story to the Notepad. Select the text or story you want and click the Rip and Read button to place the text in your notepad project.

Drag and Drop
Using the mouse, you can physically move as much or as little text as you wish from one window to the other. To drag and drop, strike F8 for a Split Screen with the WireBrowser displayed in the upper window and the Notepad window below.
