Alternatively, the SRC-16 + G2 may be used in Data mode which allows the user to define custom ACSII strings to control the relays as well as send custom ASCII strings when an input is on or off. Two units may be operated in a standalone pair mode to form a \u201crelay extension cord,\u201d with 16 channels of bi-directional I\/O over serial or Ethernet. The unit can communicate using RS-232, TCP, or UDP. Serial data rates up to 38,400 baud are supported. The SRC-16 + G2 may be expanded to 64 inputs and 64 outputs from a single serial or Ethernet port by adding up to three additional units.<\/p>\n<p>Features\/Benefits<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 16 optically-isolated status\/trigger inputs.
