StormReady - School Closing Database Software and Automatic Telephone Answering Software

CallTaker: Automated telephone answering for handling large volumes of calls quickly without tying up your staff

CallTaker adds an automated telephony-based capture system for getting updates from organization decision makers without using people to answer the phones. Similar to voice mail with user-customizable prompts - the system allows callers to enter an ID and PIN code and then navigate a list of choices using their touch tone phone...

The system can also be configured to give specific organizations their own custom menu too. Menus are created using standard WAV audio files, and any recording/editing program can be used to maintain the menu system.

CallTaker is an NT based application designed specifically for Win2000/XP/2003 operation. Operating from a dedicated workstation or server, using Intel Dialogic brand multi-line telephone card(s) the system can answer any number of incoming lines simultaneously and update the access compatible database that StormReady uses. In a multi-user environment, the machine can also host the StormReady database and act as the storm server. If a station already has a file server, then this workstation runs as a client updating the database over the LAN. In this fashion, StormReady software can be run from user workstations and can be used for administration and maintenance while CallTaker takes virtually all your calls.

CallTaker was written in 2000 and has been maintained with upgrades since that time.
