FAQ# 42:
I keep getting an error that the PhoneReady data file cannot be opened, but I
know that it exists.?
This error usually means that your computer does not have enough available
memory to open the file. PhoneReady keeps the entire database in memory, so
the amount of available memory has to be more than the size of the file.
You can see how much memory is available by, from the World menu, pressing F8,
and choosing Memory Statistics. Look at the first line, Total Available
Memory.
Try freeing up memory by lowering the buffer count on audio cards (if you also
use CartReady) or by reducing the amount of memory used by SmartDrive.
