CABLING INFORMATION
There must be a serial cable in Comm-1 or Comm-2 on the back of the BROADCAST PARTNERS 
receiver.  The other end of this cable must connect to a Serial port on your computer.

SETTING UP BROADCAST PARTNERS RECEIVER FOR WIREREADY
There are 3 things that must be setup correctly in order to receive Broadcast Partners stories in 
WireReady.  Go to the Broadcast Partners Receiver.
Look for the little box at the top of the screen which shows:
INFOBEAN FUTURES OPTIONS CHART COMMENT CASH NEWS WEATHER PREMIUM SYS 
etc.
If they look like above and they don't show numbers before the choices then press MENU.  Now, all of 
those choices should show a number before the choice.  For Example:
INFOBEAN 2FUTURES 3OPTIONS 4CHART etc.
Press the appropriate number for SYS.  You should be seeing 4 grey boxes on the screen.
Press MENU again.
This will put you on a new screen with your highlight bar over on the left side of the screen.  There will 
be two choices there:
			USER CONFIGURATION
			SYSTEM UTILITIES
Move your highlight bar down over SYSTEM UTILITIES.  Now, if you look to the right, there should 
be a whole list of options with numbers before them.
	STEP 1: COM PORT SETUP
Press 02 and this will bring you into Com Port Setup.  Your highlight bar will be over 
RECEIVER/PORT SETUP.  If you look to the right it will show 4 choices.
They should be setup as follows:
	01 Data Source -  Receiver
	02 Mouse Port  -  None
	03 Modem Port  -  None
	04 PC Port     -  Com1   (or com2)
To select these options press the number before the choice.  By pressing 04 it will toggle between 
Com1, Com2, or None.
NOTE:  The com port that you select MUST be the same Serial Port you've plugged into, on the back of  
       the Broadcast Partners receiver.
	Press MENU to return to SYSTEM UTILITIES.
STEP 2: SETUP PRINTER
Press 05 and this will bring you into PRINTER SETUP.  Look to the right and there is a list of choices.
They are as follows:
		01 Printer Type     -   9-Pin Epson Compatible
		02 Resolution       -   120
		03 Orientation      -   Portrait
		04 Color Mode       -   No
		05 Image Size       -   80%
		06 Image Appearance -   Dark
		07 Print Device     -   Serial Port
Press 07 to toggle between SERIAL PORT or PRINTER PORT.  Make sure that this is setup for 
SERIAL PORT.
Options 01-06 may vary from what it shown here, don't change these options just make sure that you 
change PRINT DEVICE to show SERIAL PORT.
	Press MENU to return to the SYSTEM UTILITIES.
STEP 3: ELITE FEATURES
Press 11 to view SHOW FEATURE ENTITLEMENTS.  This will display the features that the
Receiver has been downloaded for.  It may look similar to the following:
 				FARMDAYTA ELITE FEATURES
		Printer Enabled
		Auto-Print Enabled
		PC Interface Enabled
		Color Enabled
		Screen Saver Enabled
		Zoom Enabled
If you don't see the first 3 options listed than you must call BROADCAST PARTNERS for a
download.
Press MENU to return to the SYSTEM UTILITIES screen.  Then press MENU again, this will put
all the numbers back at the top of the screen next to each option so you can select what you want.
STEP 4: PRINTING A STORY TO WIREREADY
Using the WireReady Sample in our Setup program you can perform the following test.  Call
WireReady directly if you would like to be walked through this test.
On the Broadcast Partners Receiver Press 7 for News ( or the appropriate number).  Then press the 
number on the right side to view the text of the story.  Then press PRINT.  This will print the story to 
the WireReady Computer.  The story you selected to print went out the Serial Port Comm-1 or Comm-2 
on the back of the Broadcast Partners Receiver to your computers Serial port.
Normally, when it's setup properly the Broadcast Partners Receiver will automatically print stories to 
the WireReady computer or you can manually print stories to the WireReady computer.
If you saw this story come across the WireReady computer than everything is setup correctly up to this 
point.  You are now ready to enter the WireReady program and you should start updating with new 
stories.
